Severna Park Soccer is very concerned about protecting the privacy of our players and volunteers. This site does not collect personal information, and all personal information presented on this site is done so with the expressed permission of that person or of the parent or authorized guardian. Further, we adhere to GSPAAs information usage policies regarding our email lists, registrations databases, rosters and communication with various media.

Information We Collect and Display
Access Privilege
The ability to view site content or adult volunteer information on the Severna Park Soccer web site is unrestricted (there are a few places where we require a password in order to access coaching continuing information).
The site administrator and certain appointed positions will have access to all content on this site. No other individuals except for the site developers, who are responsible for the site operations, will have access.
Traffic Security
The hosting site and internet traffic is protected via SSL access. This is a standard security measure used to make Internet traffic unreadable to anyone but the requesting user.
Cookies
Cookies are data files transferred to a users computer from a web site that can record specific user information. This site will never record password information in a cookie. If you choose to visit a linked site, their policy on the use of cookies then applies. All users have the option to disable the receipt of cookies, thus eliminating the collection of the specific information requested. Browsers are initially set to receive them, however, and a user must actively select not to accept them. In doing so however, the user needs to be aware that there may be portions of the web site that will not display or function correctly.
Message Board
The Severna Park Soccer "message board" (Severna Park Soccer shares time-sensitive information with our community) is available to administrators, coaches, and players to report any information pertinent to the organization and its functions. Any personal information that you voluntarily disclose in this manner is not secure and this practice is strongly discouraged. In addition, Severna Park Soccer will make every effort so that inappropriate or unsolicited information not relevant to the organization will not be displayed. Access to the message board is restricted to those individuals who are assigned this responsibility and the recipients of their messages is limited by the role they play within the organization.
Use of Information
GSPAA Mailings/Phone contact
Coaches, club and league administrators, and players and their parents will have access to posted information (email and phone numbers, and as well, may make use of available methods of discovering your address) and may contact you via these routes. In addition, GSPAA may contact you regarding sports-related contests, tournaments, or other promotions. GSPAA will not provide addresses, email or phone lists to advertisers or vendors.
Aggregate information
This site does not make use of web statistics or trending for the purposes of marketing. Severna Park Soccer will not disclose any individual users information to outside parties unless required by law.
