What: Funds For Friends fundraiser for the GSPAA BU16A Fever
Where: Green Turtle of Pasadena, 20 Magothy Beach Rd, Pasadena
When: Veteran's Day, Monday November, 12, all day, open to close, dine in or carry out
Why: To help defray the costs of the Fever's Disney Showcase Tournament
The Fever plays in prestigious regional leagues requiring travel from Southern Virginia to upstate New York. The team was recently accepted into the Disney Boys Soccer Showcase in Orlando Florida to face top teams from around the country. The league fees and the travel and lodging expenses are significant.
The Fever and the Green Turtle of Pasadena have arranged a special fundraising event to help the Fever with their expenses. This event, called Funds For Friends, takes place all day on Monday Nov. 12 (Veteran's Day).
The Green Turtle is donating to the Fever 20% of your total check for that day (11:30AM until 1:00AM)! You can dine in or carry out, it doesn't matter. Just bring a copy of the event flyer (To download and print the flyer, click Severna Park Fever Green Turtle Funds For Friends Flyer) so that the Green Turtle can track the purchases.
It's a win-win...you get great food, and the Green Turtle donates 20% of their sales to the Fever to help defray their costs.
